We're not a franchise and we're not corporate. Aloha Crew Kitchen is family owned and operated, and disabled vet owned and operated - so we answer to our guests, not to a head office. That freedom is why we can add specials and rotate our menu around what's in season instead of running a fixed corporate playbook. And we cook the true flavor of Hawaii for the DMV, not mainland substitutes.

It's the food we grew up eating back on the islands of Hawaii - plate lunch favorites, island-style BBQ and the local dishes we were raised on. It is different from foods like Lau Lau or Poi, which is traditional Hawaiian food that we do serve on weekly specials.

No. We're not an American BBQ restaurant, and we're not ODD BBQ, which used to be in this space - we have no connection to them. We serve a completely different cuisine: Hawaii style comfort food, plate lunches and island-style BBQ, made by Hawaii locals.

No. We're a pickup window, not a sit-down restaurant, so there's nothing to book. Order ahead online or walk up to the window, then find a table inside Ono Brewing.

Beer is sold by Ono Brewing Company, not by us. At the brewery it's self serve: pick up a refillable card at Ono and pour your own drinks from the taps. For offsite events, bartending service can be added to your catering request so your guests can drink on site.

Yes. Tell us at the window or in the notes on your online order and we'll point you to the plates that work. Some menu items are labeled vegetarian or gluten free, but our kitchen is shared, so cross-contact with allergens is possible.
